Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development, L.L.C. today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration requires additional information before it will approve the company's New Drug Application for DORIBAX for the treatment of hospital-acquired pneumonia, also known as nosocomial pneumonia , including ventilator-associated pneumonia .
